Coffee isn’t the only way to get your energy up, a Coffee isn’t the only way to get your energy up, and if you’re sensitive to caffeine or worried about coffee’s effects on cortisol, it’s probably not the best way to get yourself going in the morning. Some swaps, from all around the world:

🇰🇷Ginseng tea: Popular in Korea and throughout East Asia, ginseng tea doesn’t contain caffeine but is still thought to help boost energy.

☕️Oolong tea: This traditional Chinese tea contains caffeine, though much less than your typical cup of coffee, making it a good alternative if you want to avoid uncomfortable jitters.

🧉Yerba mate: This South American tea has nearly as much caffeine per cup as coffee but offers a milder, earthy flavor.

🍵Matcha: Japanese matcha — or any green tea — offers energy from caffeine but without the caffeine crash of coffee once it wears off.

🇮🇳Chai tea: This Indian tea is made with black tea and a mix of spices for a complex, mood-boosting flavor.

🥥Coconut water: If dehydration is the cause of your fatigue, natural coconut water can be an effective (and slightly sweet) thirst quencher.

Almost nothing is as sweet as that vacation-mode d Almost nothing is as sweet as that vacation-mode dose of inspiration you get when traveling. ✈️ Exposing yourself to a new environment with fresh sights, smells, sounds, and tastes is the human equivalent of hitting a “refresh” button.

Thankfully, you don’t have to go far to experience that vacation-vibes feeling. You can find inspiration from all around the world and incorporate it into your daily lifestyle and routine. Here are some ideas:

	•	Read a book about a new (to you) cultural philosophy or concept
	•	Treat yourself to a “souvenir” — a fragrance from a Korean brand, a new accessory from a French label, or an art print from a faraway place, for example — even if you didn’t go any farther than your sofa to find it
	•	Watch a foreign film or series (bonus points if it’s in its original language)
	•	Listen to music from different countries (pro tip: search “charts” on Spotify and browse the list of countries)
	•	Indulge in hair and skincare products from international brands
	•	Visit a local international grocery store and buy snacks you’ve never tried, or grab ingredients for a recipe from a different cuisine than you’re used to
	•	Scroll through social media for style influencers from other countries to get fresh outfit inspiration
	•	Visit a museum showcasing an international artist or theme
	•	Borrow one habit or ritual you followed on vacation, like having meals on a terrace, walking or biking to get around, or taking long baths, and work it into your everyday life
	•	Follow The Daily Import (ehem) for lifestyle inspo from around the globe 🌏
